Payment & Billing Policy
Last updated: 06 October 2026
This policy explains how customers can pay Precious Vacations for travel services and how online payments are handled.
1. Payment methods
Depending on the booking, we may accept bank transfer, UPI, cards or online payment links issued through an approved payment gateway such as PayU. A payment link will be shared only after the booking amount and purpose of payment are confirmed.
2. PayU and online payments
Where PayU is used, the customer is redirected to or otherwise interacts with the payment provider's secure payment environment. Payment status is confirmed to Precious Vacations through the payment system. We do not request card PIN, CVV or OTP over WhatsApp, email or phone.
3. Booking confirmation
Payment does not by itself guarantee a booking unless Precious Vacations or the relevant supplier confirms the service. Some bookings require full payment, deposit or payment by a specific deadline.
4. Invoices and taxes
Where applicable, invoices and tax documents are issued according to the booking and applicable Indian tax rules. Customers should provide correct billing details before an invoice is issued.
5. Failed or duplicated payments
If your account is debited but the booking/payment status is not confirmed, contact us with the transaction reference and amount. We will reconcile the payment. Refund timing may depend on the payment gateway and bank.
6. Refunds
Approved refunds are normally routed back through the original payment method, subject to the applicable booking cancellation rules and payment-provider process. Payment providers may take additional time to reflect the refund in the customer's account.
7. Fraud prevention
We may request reasonable verification where a transaction appears unusual or where a supplier requires passenger verification. We will never ask for your OTP, card PIN or CVV.
